NOW HIRING EXTRUSION OPERATOR
Location: Heath/Hebron, OH Pay: $18 - $20 /hour Schedule: 4-4 Rotation 2 Days: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM2 Nights: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
3 Days Off Mancan is seeking a reliable and motivated Extrusion Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Heath/Hebron area. This is a hands-on production position responsible for operating and monitoring an extrusion line from raw material input through finished product while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. What You'll Do:
Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion equipment
Work with films, resins, color concentrates, and additives
Monitor production speeds, start/stop functions, changeovers, and downtime
Maintain product specifications including gauge, length, width, color, bond strength, and surface finish
Identify product defects and perform required quality-control checks
Follow production schedules, work orders, and customer specifications
Accurately record production and quality-control data
Assist with die and screw tear-downs, screen packs, and line-specific tools
Communicate equipment malfunctions quickly to help minimize downtime
Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures and company safety policies
Maintain quality and food-safety standards
Keep production and warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
12 years of manufacturing experience and/or forklift experience preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification
Ability to read production tickets, work orders, and instructions
Basic math and measuring skills
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, stretch, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods
