Key Responsibilities of the LPN/LVN Critical Care Step Down

• Care for progressive care/step-down patients
• Provide cardiac telemetry and continuous monitoring
• Manage patients requiring high-flow oxygen, BiPAP/CPAP
• Conduct post-procedural cardiac and vascular monitoring
• Perform frequent patient assessments

Requirements of the LPN/LVN Critical Care Step Down

• 1-2 years of recent Critical Care Step Down/PCU experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active LPN license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to float based on census and staffing needs
