Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Responsibilities:Load and unload express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area.Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages within the warehouse.Buildup / Breakdown package containers ready for outbound/inbound flightsRemoval of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloadingOperate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts)Weighing, labeling, or make/break-down of gaylords or air freight containersCheck air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelinesReport to position on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidaysSuccessfully complete required computer based and on the job trainingsAdhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standardsPerform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policiesWork outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumesMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent requiredOne-year experience in similar role preferred not requiredValid Driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays.
