Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication skills with an opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule of approximately 8 hours per day and an estimated 37.5 hours per week, providing dedicated service across the county for students ranging from birth through 12th grade.
Utilize your expertise to address a variety of speech and language needs, working in collaboration with educators and families. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about fostering growth and success in students’ communicative abilities.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC highly desired)
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with strong mentorship potential
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and deliver therapy to students from infancy through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt and tailor interventions to meet diverse needs within birth-12th grade population
- Provide consultative support and resources to educators and caregivers
