Fueler-Washer - HOLT Truck Leasing Department: HOLT Truck (TRUCK) Employment Type: Full Time Location: HTL - Houston Hempstead Reporting To: David Bruckman Description Fuel and wash the equipment as needed. Fuel equipment and check the fluid levels. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values. Collaborate with key internal/external resources. Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions Fuel vehicles as required Wash and clean equipment Deliver outstanding customer service Fuel trucks as required Wash trucks as needed Ensure proper levels of fuel are maintained at all times Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines Adhere to company rules and regulations Shuttle vehicles when necessary Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas Perform other tasks as directed by Service Manager or Immediate Supervisor Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission. Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other duties assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities General knowledge of trucking industry helpful. Good communication skills Customer service skills. Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Travel: None Physical Requirements: Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend and twist. Employee may have to climb and/or lift up to and over 80 pounds frequently. Visual requirements are constant. Work Environment: Duties are performed throughout the inside and outside of the building(s). Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness and humidity and sometimes darkness.
