As a Quality Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance/Food Safety department supporting production, sanitation, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Quality Technician Location: Allenwood, PA Pay Range: $47840 - $54080 Shift: Monday - Friday; 8-4 or 9-5 What's the Job? Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications. Conduct inspections and testing as required by internal procedures, customer requirements, and food safety standards. Monitor product quality, packaging, labeling, and overall condition throughout production. Document inspection results, test results, quality checks, and product observations accurately and timely. Support continuous improvement initiatives, food safety programs, audits, and employee training related to quality, hygiene, and food safety standards. What's Needed? Quality experience in the food manufacturing industry. Experience working in a food facility with a GFSI scheme certification. Knowledge of regulatory and food safety requirements applicable to food manufacturing. Ability to work in a production environment and follow all safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
