Summary

Morgan & Morgan is looking for a Trucking Personal Injury Trial Attorney in Chicago, Illinois to join its growing practice. The Trial Attorney will handle mostly catastrophic and trucking motor vehicle accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs. Responsibilities include trial prep and trial. This is an opportunity to pick up a fantastic group of high‑value cases.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day handling of litigation cases
• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Guiding clients through the case process
• Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Illinois
• Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases
• Trial experience required
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
