Neurologist opening in beautiful south central MO - great support

Position Overview

Seeking BE/BC Neurologist to join one other experienced Neurologist in a thriving practice in south central MO.

Responsibilities

• Preferred candidate will be interested in general neurology, but subspecialties are welcome as long as the candidate is willing to do some general neurology.
• Experience in a Level II Stroke Center.
• Participate in Tele‑stroke through Washington University in St. Louis, reducing call to a reasonable amount.
• Read nerve conduction studies, EEGs, and perform EMG.
• Work with support staff including two EEG/Nerve Conduction Study techs.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or Board certified in Neurology (BE/BC).
• Welcomed are Neurologists with subspecialty training who are willing to practice general neurology.
• Willingness to work in an underserved area; J1 and H1B applicants accepted.

The practice is located in an underserved area on the Delta Regional Authority, servicing approximately 180,000 population in a nine‑county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas. The surrounding community includes public and private schools, and a local campus of Missouri State University offering academic and vocational programs. The facility is expanding with a new 120,000 square feet medical office building, flexible clinics, procedure suite, centralized imaging facilities, updated pharmacy, new food service area and a Starbucks. A 20,000 square foot Women’s Center houses modern labor and delivery rooms, gynecological surgery facilities, and educational spaces.
