Foreign Language Interpreter/Translation: Kurdish (Kurmanji) & Arabic Travel Only

The Opportunity CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly‑cleared candidates who speak Kurdish (Kurmanji) & Arabic. This is a prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA. This is a travel only role. You will be deployed for 4 to 8 weeks at a time and back for 4 to 8 weeks. Responsibilities Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats that contain facts and abstract language, capturing intended implications and nuances. Capture geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text. Interpret accurately; consecutive interpretation is needed, and on rare occasions simultaneous interpretation may be required. Must understand one or more regional dialects. Transcribe audio or internet materials with high accuracy and expression; produce reports with excellent English written communication. Identify and accurately summarize factual points and abstract concepts. Possess computer skills: MS Office and basic internet research. Excellent English verbal communication skills to present briefings. Qualifications US Citizen. Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph. Advanced English test proficiency. Score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test. Active passport; ability to deploy (travel only). Minimum five (5) years professional experience in translation, transcription, and/or interpretation. In‑depth knowledge of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language areas. Master use of MS Office and internet research. Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Previous military experience. Good understanding of one or more regional dialects. Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities. What You Can Expect A culture of integrity.
