McAirlaid’s is seeking a top-quality candidate for the position of Customer Service Representative. The top candidate is a well-organized, detail oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who enjoys working with people. This role wears several hats supporting the corporate, sales and manufacturing leaders. Must be able to work in a team environment and at times take on duties that may not be specific to their job description.

Years of Experience / Education Level

•       Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment

Essential Duties

•       Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of department’s activities.

•       Know warehouse system and be familiar with item codes and inventory.

•       Processes orders, generate order confirmations, generate invoices, communicate confirmations internally and with customers.

•       Ensure that production department has a clear understanding of processes and procedures for all orders (Food Packaging and Retail) which includes but not limited to special packaging and labeling requirements.

•       Support Sales on projects which can include but is not limited to stuffing envelopes, making cold calls, assembling packages, organizing trade show material.

•       Provide front office reception duties including answering phone, front window and ensuring NDA agreement and Visitor and Contractor Guidelines are provided and signed.

•       Assist and serve as backup to Customer Service Manager.

•       Other duties as assigned

Sampling

•       Organize sample materials and ensure that they are prepared and shipped prior to deadlines.

•       Maintain detailed records of samples sent out by sales team and maintain spreadsheet.
