Accounting Manager

Rise Wellness, a subsidiary of USANA Health Sciences Inc., is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position leads accounting processes, strengthens internal controls, and drives continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Ensuring account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
• Supporting internal and external audit processes
• Supervising and supporting employees by performing periodic reviews and supporting their professional development
• Coordinating accounting and non-accounting personnel to ensure the accurate and timely closing of fiscal periods
• Continuously working to identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the department

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related degree required
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, managing accounting operations, preferably in a public company
• Experience with large ERP platforms, Oracle ERP preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and strong communication skills
• Educated use of GAAP in analyzing and recording financial information
• Insight, expertise, and attention to detail in assigned function
• Ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines, and make sound business decisions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

*Position is hybrid/in-office located in Salt Lake City.
