Business Data Analyst Internship

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join the Customer & Operations department of AXA Partners for a 6-month internship starting as soon as possible. Your role and missions as a Business Data Analyst Intern will support the growth of our Travel Insurance (B2C and B2B2C) offering through data analysis. Beyond SQL queries, you will transform complex data into actionable insights to identify growth levers, optimize traffic and journeys, improve user experience, and inform key decisions in close collaboration with the business team. Your internship will be dynamic. Depending on the commercial priorities of the moment and your strengths, you will focus on one or more of the following key areas:

• Contribute to the analysis and valuation of data to better understand customer behaviors and guide actions.
• Examine audience dynamics and online channel performances to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in the visualization and optimization of customer journeys.
• Ad-hoc Business Support: Use SQL and Python to answer urgent business questions and support the team with data-driven decision making.
• Experimentation: Take part in the design and evaluation of experiments to validate new marketing initiatives.

You will work in a modern cloud-native data environment: Languages: Python, SQL Cloud & Data Warehousing: Google BigQuery, Databricks Development Environment: VS Code (Local)

Your Profile

Technical skills and competencies required Strong mastery of SQL. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and visualization. Familiarity with cloud platforms (BigQuery) or Databricks is a plus. Business Sense: You understand that data is a tool to solve commercial problems. You are curious about the E-commerce sector. Communication: You know how to clearly visualize data and explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders. Languages: Fluent in English and French (B2+ level required). Degrees and experience required: Student in the final year (Bac+5) of an Engineering School, Business School, or University Master 2, with a strong component specialization (Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics/Business Analytics); end-of-studies internship. Dual data/management skill appreciated
