Process Engineer

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Round Block Process Engineer to join their team.The Round Block Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality foam block manufacturing. This role involves process improvement, formulation development, equipment maintenance, and personnel training. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, experience in the polymer industry, and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Develop and modify foam formulations to meet customer specifications and organizational goals.
• Ensure proper functioning of production equipment through routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Train operators and technicians on safe and efficient operating procedures.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and track performance metrics.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of polymer and/or foam manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including foam production.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
