What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a high-risk OB unit
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery
• Administer medications and assist with procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
• Document care and patient progress accurately in Epic system
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations within the OB unit

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible to licensure
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience in a hospital setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM
• Strong clinical skills in high-risk OB care and patient advocacy
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating to mother/baby units as needed
