Coffee & Juice Bar Manager
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Coffee & Juice Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of a fast-paced café and juice bar. The manager will lead staff, maintain high-quality beverage and food standards, manage inventory and scheduling, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Coffee & Juice Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of a fast-paced café and juice bar. The manager will lead staff, maintain high-quality beverage and food standards, manage inventory and scheduling, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovates, and creates new menu items
- Supervise daily operations of the coffee and juice bar
- Lead, train, motivate, and schedule baristas and team members
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Prepare and oversee preparation of coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, juices, and light food items
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, and end-of-day reporting
- Track sales, labor costs, and operational performance
- Develop promotions, seasonal menus, and upselling strategies
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and company policies
- Conduct opening and closing procedures
- Previous experience in café, coffee shop, juice bar, or restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of espresso equipment and juice/smoothie preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cash management
- Food Handler Certification and/or ServSafe certification preferred
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Sales experience
- Knowledge of healthy beverages, nutrition trends, and specialty coffee
- Ability to train staff on drink consistency and presentation
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in a busy, high-energy environment
