Civil Litigation Associate

San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Costa Mesa, Inland Empire Our client is looking for a Civil Litigation Associate with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to join one of its California offices. This role focuses on defending commercial clients in complex, high-stakes litigation while providing strategic risk management advice. Associates collaborate closely with senior attorneys throughout all stages of litigation—from case assessment and discovery to trial—while developing litigation strategy and maintaining strong client relationships. The firm seeks motivated, proactive attorneys committed to long-term professional growth. Key Responsibilities Attend court hearings, site inspections, and take or defend depositions. Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions. Analyze cases and develop effective litigation strategies. Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience. Active California State Bar membership in good standing. Experience handling premises liability matters, preferably in a law firm. Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and time-management skills. Salary range: $125,000–$180,000 , based on experience. Performance-based bonus program.
