Internet Sales Manager

Description Overview: The Internet Sales Manager oversees the dealership's Internet department, ensuring consistent communication with potential customers and effective lead management. Key Responsibilities Ensure all internet, phone, and third-party leads (e.g., AutoTrader, Cars.com, CarGurus) are contacted within dealership response-time standards Monitor and optimize lead response times, contact rates, appointment-set rates, and show rates Oversee CRM usage (e.g., VinSolutions) to ensure accurate data entry, timely follow-up, and proper lead source tracking Develop and manage outbound campaigns for sales and service (equity mining, conquest, loyalty, and service-to-sales) Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to dealership leadership Partner with the Sales and Service Managers to align efforts with inventory, promotions, and monthly goals Handle escalated customer inquiries and ensure a high standard of customer service Manage scripts, call flows, and objection-handling processes; update as needed based on performance data Stay current on digital marketing, chat, and texting platforms that feed the BDC Other tasks as needed to assist the Sales team Requirements Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a dealership, internet sales, or call center leadership role Proven track record of hitting appointment-set and show rates Strong working knowledge of dealership CRM and lead management tools Excellent phone presence, coaching ability, and team leadership skills Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze reports and adjust strategy Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Automotive sales or service background preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record #J-18808-Ljbffr Palm-Springs-Kia
