Forge & Build is hiring a Sales Associate at our rental facility in Clark, MO , and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided)

Primary Responsibilities

• Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, cleaning, merchandising and overall store cleanliness


• Maintain a friendly helpful attitude 


• Assist customers in solving their problems


• Maintain a positive, professional and safe environment at all times


• Assist in keeping the sales floor clean and orderly, including signage and bintags


• Maintain strong product knowledge


• Provide outstanding customer service

Forge & Build is a place contractors and customers can access all the materials and hardware they need to get the job done, as well as tech-powered equipment rentals.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• XX years XX experience


• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees


• High school diploma or GED equivalent


• Former retail or trade (ex: building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) experience preferred


• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing required


• Inherent desire to learn and develop on an individual basis


• Strive for continuous improvement
