Project ManagerThrive with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring a Project Manager in Fremont, CA.As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Analyze and optimize processes to ensure quality products are delivered on schedule at a minimum cost. Provide project/team leadership with a systems integration view and the vision to establish an efficient, economical, and scalable infrastructure.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projectsEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budgetDeveloping project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibilityEnsure resource availability and allocationDevelop a detailed project plan to track progressUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costsMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniquesManage and establish relationship with the client and third parties/vendorsPerform risk management to minimize project risksCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationThis is a full-time opportunity.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift 8:30am-5:10pm.The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field3+ years of experience in project managementExcellent communication, organizational, presentation and leadership skillsAbility to filter and distill relevant information for the right audienceSelf-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesUnderstands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguityDetailed knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processesExperience interfacing with operations, mechanical and manufacturing processPay range: $38.00/hr. - $45.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Benefits will be provided by the client as this is a direct hire roleVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
