Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Assessments
We are looking for a committed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become a part of our team, focusing on medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This position entails conducting in-person physical examinations and electronically reviewing medical records to fulfill the necessary documentation for the VA.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
- Analyze and review electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
- Document examination findings accurately and complete the required VA forms.
- Offer medical opinions based on your assessment results.
It is important to note that disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) , not by the healthcare provider.
Schedule:- Full-Time: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
- Caseload: 3-5 Veterans per day.
- Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.
- A compassionate provider dedicated to assisting the Veteran community.
- Strong analytical abilities to review medical records and assessment data.
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
- A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- Health insurance and 401K benefits available.
- Training and ongoing support provided.
