Assistant Property Manager

Our nonprofit housing client is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support two affordable housing communities in Oakland: . This role will assist with daily property operations, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, compliance, and maintenance coordination while supporting the Property Manager across both sites.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and operational support for two affordable housing communitiesAssist with leasing activities, applications, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewalsCollect and track rent payments and maintain accurate resident recordsCoordinate maintenance requests, work orders, vendor services, and unit inspectionsSupport affordable housing compliance, recertifications, and resident documentationRespond to resident inquiries and help resolve tenant concernsMaintain property files, reports, and general office administrationAssist with marketing vacancies and scheduling property tours
