General Definition of Work
The City of Brainerd is seeking a temporary seasonal Ball Field Maintenance employee. This position assists with weekend softball and/or baseball tournaments in prepping all fields between each game.

Essential Functions

• Grooming of fields
• Chalking fields
• Janitorial tasks

Qualifications and Competencies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid MN driver's license and physical ability to perform assigned tasks is required.
• Must be available to work multiple weekend tournaments.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Desired qualifications include experience preparing and maintaining softball/baseball fields is preferred. If you're new to field preparation, training will be provided.
• Experience using a lawn mower and rake.

Other Requirements and Supplemental Information
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT*: Salary is $20 - $22 per hour DOQ. Work hours will be dependent on weather and tournament schedule. As a temporary position, this is a non-benefit earning position.
