Schedule: Nights

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide appropriate respiratory therapy treatments and cardio-pulmonary diagnostics to patients according to established protocols and departmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy.
• Provide ventilator management and incentive spirometry.
• Conduct cardio-pulmonary diagnostics including electrocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, and arterial blood sampling.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, home sleep studies, and other required procedures.
• Document patient records per departmental standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado, current and unrestricted.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within two years.
• NRP certification preferred.
