divh2Host/Cashier Position/h2pHost/Cashier position will be engaged in the support of the FB Supervisors/Restaurant Manager by greeting and seating guests as they enter or exit the restaurant, handling money transaction as payment for product and services provided in the restaurant. This will include server station rotation, managing wait times, clearing of tables, and processing check transactions. Obtains optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximizes profits by performing assigned duties personally or through subordinate staff. Development of menus, SOPs for safe and efficient preparation of food utilizing various cooking techniques and equipment. Note this position will not involve any function involving casino gambling by patrons./ph3How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h3ulliGreet guests, seat guests, rotate guests through server stations, manage wait times, side work, etc/liliProcess payment in the form of cash, credit card, comp, travelers check, players club points, and side work, etc./liliAssist with Table Reset as needed per specifications./liliMaintains standards of kitchen sanitation and cleanliness, as well as the safe handling of food beverage products/liliCommunicate on a consistent basis with supervisor keeping them abreast of all department activities./liliEnsure that bar and equipment are in good working order and that the work area is clean and hazard-free./liliNotify supervisor immediately if bar and equipment are not in good, safe working order./liliPossess the ability to work with Co-workers and Management in a casino restaurant environment, involving high volume or gourmet, fast paced production in a friendly and professional manner./li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED required./lili1 (one) year experience in the Food Beverage Service Industry as a Restaurant Host / Hostess and or Cashier or similar position is preferred./liliThe position requires fast paced service, excellent customer service skills and the ability to read, write, speak and understand English, distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols and be involved in daily professional communication/liliThe position requires math skills and the ability to multi task, basic food, beverage knowledge, such as (fluid measurements, size, shape, color, price, portion size, etc.) as defined by hiring management./liliThe position requires money handling experience with credit card and cash transactions./liliMust be able to demonstrate and ensure that daily work performed is conducted within HACCP guidelines./liliRequired to comply with safe and hazard free work environment practices stipulated in Horseshoe Indianapolis, County/State/Federal Department of Health and OSHA policies, procedures and regulations./liliPosition requires employee be certified in Serve Safe Food Sanitation, Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness, and Indiana State approve Alcohol Training.
