Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$17.50 per hour (2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
*This is in a freezer environment, temps are between 20-30 degrees*

What's a typical day as a HIGH REACH Forklift Operator? You'll be:

• Loading and unloading customer products with precision, ensuring secure movement and accurate placement in storage.
• Fulfilling orders by picking, assembling, and stacking merchandise for outbound shipments using stand-up forklifts and other equipment.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy by checking for damage, assisting with physical inventories, and following Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures.
• Processing and preparing goods through labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as required.
• Operating a variety of warehouse vehicles including stand-up forklifts, straddle trucks, pallet jacks, and utilizing RF scanners.
• Reporting equipment malfunctions and performing general upkeep such as charging batteries, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have prior experience operating high reach forklifts and are comfortable with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Hold a high school diploma/GED or have at least one year of related warehouse or material handling experience.
• Demonstrate reliability in attendance and are willing to work flexible hours including occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends.
• Can meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 80 lbs., frequent sitting/manipulation of controls, and occasional standing, kneeling, or crouching.
• Possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and get along well with co-workers and supervisors.
• Are able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
