Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Toxicology

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for its toxicology department in Raritan, New Jersey, working overnight shifts. The role involves performing laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate test results.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established quality criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
- Execute preventative maintenance and quality control documentation procedures
- Report accurate and timely test results to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory testing experience OR MLS degree
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- High attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation: $25.19 - $39.09 per hour + shift differential
