Office Assistant (Part-Time / Internship)

The Opportunity Freight Flex is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Office & HR Assistant to help keep our office running smoothly while supporting the Human Resources department. This position is ideal for a college student seeking an internship or someone looking for a flexible part-time administrative role. As the company continues to grow, this role will also gain exposure to HR functions such as payroll and commission administration. What You'll Do: Maintain office supplies, including ordering snacks, beverages, paper products, soap, and other essential inventory. Help ensure the office remains clean, organized, and presentable. Conduct routine office safety and maintenance checks, including monitoring fire extinguisher inspection dates and reporting any issues. Coordinate with vendors for office supply and facility needs. Assist with general administrative projects and data entry. Support the HR department with filing, documentation, and employee records. Assist with payroll preparation and commission tracking as responsibilities expand. Provide administrative support for additional HR and office initiatives as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and time management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word). Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Previous administrative or office experience is a plus but not required.
