Senior Angular Developer

Title Senior Angular Developer Job Description CGI is looking to hire an Angular developer specializing in building secure, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces, integrating with RESTful and event‑driven APIs to work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S. in a challenging technical environment, gaining exposure to advanced tools and technology suites. This role requires presence at the client site five days a week in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Dallas, TX. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement front‑end Angular user interfaces, AngularJS, and Node.js (mandatory). Understand Java RESTful services that integrate with external client systems and front‑end user interfaces. Strong attention to detail and understanding of UX and visual design concepts. Analyze user requirements, define technical project scope, and assumptions for assigned tasks. Create technical designs for new systems and/or modifications to existing systems. Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs. Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts. Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development. Requirements Minimum 6+ years overall experience. 6+ years in front‑end development with Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Node.js. 3+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD servers. Experience with responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices. Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code. Understanding of RESTful or SOAP web services (Java/J2EE development with REST API, Spring Boot, Openshift Container, Angular, XML, JSON, UML, Jenkins, Swagger). Ability to work independently within a team environment. Experience using Agile methodologies for developing applications.
