Outpatient Dietitian

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Dietitian based at Ocean Spring Hospital, part of the Singing River Health System. This dietitian will work in the bariatrics program at outpatient clinics in the area.

About the Hospital:  Ocean Springs Hospital is a 136-bed, full-service, Level III Trauma Center located in Ocean Springs, MS. They offer a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services including comprehensive cardiac care, orthopedics, intensive care units, wound care center and labor and delivery department. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
• Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
• 2 years or more clinical practice experience
• Licensed Dietitian status in Mississippi or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition

Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
