Financial Controller (119737) Belfast, Northern Ireland Salary: GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 per annum Description: We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established SME in the Greater Belfast area. This role is part of the senior leadership team and reports to the Managing Director. The successful Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function and perform hands-on work across financial reporting, controls, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision support. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners, influence decision-making and add real value within an SME environment. The Role Lead and manage the finance function across the business Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and board-level information Manage budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning Review and improve financial controls, processes and reporting systems Provide commercial insight to support business performance and strategic decisions Work closely with the MD and senior management team on financial planning Oversee compliance, VAT, payroll and statutory reporting requirements Manage relationships with external accountants, banks, auditors and key stakeholders Support operational teams with financial analysis and performance reporting The Person Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Strong experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or senior finance role Previous experience within an SME environment would be highly beneficial Commercially minded with the ability to support strategic decision-making Strong technical accounting, reporting and controls experience Confident communicator who can work closely with senior leadership Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a broad finance role Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail The Rewards £60,000 - £70,000 salary Senior finance role within a successful SME Direct access to the Managing Director Opportunity to influence business performance and decision-making Broad Financial Controller role with autonomy and responsibility Greater Belfast location #J-18808-Ljbffr Hunter-Savage-
