Estimator

Role Description This full-time, on-site Estimator role is based in Oklahoma City, OK. The Estimator is responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and explaining recommended repairs to customers in a clear, professional manner. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles, documenting damage, entering data into estimating software, and communicating with technicians, parts departments, and insurance partners to ensure efficient repair planning. The Estimator will follow company and industry guidelines, update estimates as needed during the repair process, and maintain detailed records. This role also involves providing excellent customer service, managing timelines, and supporting shop productivity and quality standards. Qualifications Ability to accurately inspect vehicles, identify collision damage, and apply basic automotive repair knowledge. Proficiency with computer-based estimating or shop management software, and strong general computer skills. Effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, teammates, and insurance representatives. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines. Problem-solving skills, including the ability to reconcile estimate changes and address repair plan challenges. Prior experience in collision repair estimating, automotive service advising, or a related field is preferred. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., I-CAR, ASE) or willingness to obtain them are beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
