Call Center Scheduler (Part-time)

Requisition #:672401 Location: Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 Category: Clerical and Administrative Support Schedule: Day Shift Employment Type: Part-time Call Center Scheduler is responsible for answering both inbound and outbound calls, serving patients by answering inquiries, asking questions and providing accurate information. ENTAA Care is a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC. Location is Glen Burnie. Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift, No Weekends Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a call center setting, preferably in health care. Experience with computerized EMR (electronic medical records) systems highly desirable. Experience and comfortable with computer usage required. Applicant must be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced office with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly and empathic manner. Essential Duties Book, coordinate, and reschedule patient’s appointments accurately and timely according to current protocol. Emails front desk regarding add‑ins for same day appointments. Answer telephone according to current protocol; including questions regarding appointments such as testing, etc. Complete assigned voicemails. Direct and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member/department relaying all pertinent information. Direct patient complaints and/or compliments to the appropriate department manager. Obtain patient information accurately and timely; interview caller, verify information, etc. Enter patient information per procedure. Salary Range: Minimum $18.50/hour - Maximum $23.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
