Job Description

This hybrid role combines professional commercial driving with hands-on warehouse operations. You will spend most of your time operating CDL Class B box trucks for local deliveries while also supporting daily warehouse activities such as shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The position requires safe and efficient handling of products, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to work comfortably with both automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class B box trucks for local deliveries, driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles as needed.
• Load and unload products safely from trucks, ensuring all items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
• Deliver products to customer locations on time while providing professional and courteous customer service.
• Maintain a strong safety record by following all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
• Assist with warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and processing incoming and outgoing orders.
• Support inventory management by organizing stock, performing counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and compliant manner.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Adapt to varying weekly workloads, which may be more driving-focused some weeks and more warehouse-focused in others.

Essential Skills

• Valid CDL Class B license; CDL Class A is also acceptable for this role.
• 1–3+ years of experience driving box trucks or CDL B vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Hazmat endorsement, or strong willingness to obtain it if not currently held.
• Air brake endorsement, or strong willingness to obtain it if not currently held.
• Proven ability to operate box trucks safely and confidently in local delivery environments.
• Experience working in commercial driving, warehouse, logistics, construction, or distribution settings.
• Ability to load, unload, and handle products safely and efficiently.
• Capability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT and company policies.
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to work full-time hours and overtime as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.
• Experience in order picking, packing, and general warehouse organization.
• Comfort working in a hybrid role that combines driving and warehouse responsibilities.
• Ability to provide professional customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, close-knit team.
• Flexibility to handle varying workloads and shift priorities between driving and warehouse tasks.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position running Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with typical weekly hours in the 45–50 range and overtime worked at the end of the shift. Work is split between driving local routes and working in a warehouse setting that involves operating forklifts, handling freight, and organizing inventory. The environment is fast-paced but team-oriented, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and collaboration.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.
