Field Service Advisor

Salary: Starting pay is $16 per hour. Final compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Department: Service Department Reports To: Service Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: Quality Equipment & Parts, Inc. (QEP) is looking for a customer-focused Field Service Advisor to join our Lake City team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and our technical service team fielding phone calls and in-person requests at our Lake City location, understanding customer equipment needs, and coordinating the right service solution from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Serve as customers' first point of contact by phone and at the service counter, gathering details on equipment issues and service history Serve as the liaison between customers and our field technicians, clearly communicating findings, timelines, and recommendations Recommend appropriate service solutions and prepare accurate, easy-to-understand repair quotes and estimates Coordinate and schedule service calls with technicians and dispatch to ensure timely, efficient resolution Follow up with customers after service is completed to confirm satisfaction and address any additional needs Maintain accurate, detailed records of customer interactions, equipment history, and service recommendations Build strong, lasting customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor for equipment service needs Collaborate closely with parts, technicians, and dispatch teams to keep customers informed at every step Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills — comfortable engaging directly with customers, in person and by phone Ability to explain service recommendations clearly to customers, even those without a technical background Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts and service requests at once Prior experience in a customer service, service advisor, or equipment/mechanical field is a plus, but not required Comfortable using computer systems to manage work orders, scheduling, and customer records Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a production team Legally eligible to work in the United States About Quality Equipment & Parts, Inc.
