We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Team Lead to oversee and motivate our sales team, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in retail sales and team management. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated sales team within a fast-paced retail environment, fostering professional development and operational excellence. Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check

Duties

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Conduct employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to enhance team performance.
• Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, and POS transactions.
• Manage scheduling shifts, ensuring adequate staffing levels for optimal customer service.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Participate in recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and assisting with onboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, payroll, inventory control, and store expenses through bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
• Supervise cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or supervisory roles with strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
• Proficiency in negotiation, customer service, POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability in training & development programs to enhance team performance.
• Knowledge of merchandising strategies, marketing techniques, pricing strategies, and store management operations.
• Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and professionally.
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery stores is preferred, but not required. This position is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to driving team success while delivering excellent customer experiences.
