Experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector (NICET level 2)

Responsibilities Perform inspection, testing and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre‑Action and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and the State of Department of Health. Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspections. Communicate findings to employees, employers, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction both in writing and verbally. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. NICET LevelII certification in Inspection & Testing of Water‑Based Systems and at least 3‑5 years of inspection experience. Three years field experience with Wet, Dry, Pre‑Action and Deluge Sprinkler systems. Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for long periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of forty (40) pounds without assistance. Excellent customer service skills; strong written and oral communication skills and good organizational skills. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment security, drug and background check. Preferred Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows and standpipes. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $40.00 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
