Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $12 - $12 / hour* What you'll be doing as a Custodian: Sweep and mop all floors. Clean the interior and exterior of all windows, doors, and their hardware. Deep clean all appliances including refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, range hoods, etc. Deep clean all cabinets, plumbing fixtures, bathroom accessories, sinks, showers, commodes, etc. Clean all ceilings, ceiling tiles, light fixtures, air vents, exhaust vents, smoke alarms, walls, etc. Assist with floor care including but not limited to stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing. Assist with performing dwelling unit turnovers as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor to include painting, refinishing, floor care, and follow up cleaning. Performs other duties and/or assignments as may be directed by the Maintenance Supervisor Available shifts: Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady A High School or G.E.D. diploma, or One (1) year of progressively responsible experience in general and deep cleaning Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 30 pounds, walking up and down stairs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards Strong attention to detail and management skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Must have the ability to communicate effectively with the tenants, employees, other agency personnel, and the public. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Position requires frequent walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive physical tasks. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when appropriate Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 30 pounds, walking up and down stairs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards Strong attention to detail and management skills.
