CVOR Surgical Technologist

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Shift: 4x10 Day Shifts

Schedule: Weekend Call & On-Call Required

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity acute care hospital. The Surgical Tech will assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures while maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety.

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and open-heart procedures

• Set up, organize, and manage surgical instruments and supplies

• Ensure proper handling of surgical equipment and sterile technique

• Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures

• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies

• Assist with patient positioning and operating room preparation

• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols

• Document procedures according to facility standards

• Participate in on-call and weekend call coverage

• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience

• CVOR experience required

• BLS Certification required

• NCCT or NBSTSA Certification preferred

• Experience in acute care hospital surgical services

• Ability to work on-call assignments and weekend coverage

• EPIC experience preferred

• Magnet Designated Hospital

• Level II Trauma Center

• 407 Staffed Beds

• EPIC Charting System
