Retail Sales Associate

SNELLING is currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate for a local company in the Bullard/Jacksonville area. The primary function of the position will be to assure customers are supported and expectations exceeded in relation to the products and services provided. Schedule is 40 hours minimum a week with OT. Monday- Friday 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM. The pay rate for this position is $16 - 18 / HR depending on experience with the ability to earn commission after training is completed.


This Retail Sales Associate position will be temp-to-hire, meaning that while SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and Snelling would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.


Responsibilities of the Retail Sales Associate will include:

• Plan, coordinate and control the communication with customers to enhance customer relationships and meet organizational and operational objectives.
• Analyze chemical samples brought in by customers.
• Work closely with team members to meet necessary deadlines to ensure the needs of the customer are met within required timelines.
• Enter sales leads into the POS system and follow up with them in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with internal and external customers as required.
• The ability to multi-task and react swiftly to shifting customer needs/deadlines.

Qualifications to be considered for the Retail Sales Associate position include:

• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some Saturdays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask, handling frequent interruptions in a calm and pleasant manner.
• Experience working with various software applications.
