Travel Lathe MachinistMust work in Grantsburg, WI - must be able to travel and stay in WI for work.As a Lathe Machinist, you will operate a variety of CNC lathes, ensuring the production of precision parts in accordance with print specifications. Your responsibilities will include reading blueprints and CAD/CAM programs, selecting and setting tooling and offsets, performing first-article inspections, monitoring run conditions, and documenting production data.Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts.Read and interpret blueprints and CAD/CAM programs.Select and set tooling and offsets for machines.Perform first-article inspections to ensure accuracy.Monitor run conditions and make necessary adjustments.Document production data accurately.Experience with CNC Lathe Machining.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Ability to edit G&M codes.Experience in multi-spindle turning.Capability to fully set up machines from start to finish.Multi-spindle experience, ideally 6-8 years.Ability to edit programs at the machine utilizing G&M codes.Engage in project-based work that supports data center growth, with guaranteed work through the end of the year.Work in a typical machine shop setting on either the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, or the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, Monday through Friday.This is a Contract position based out of Grantsburg, WI.The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
