Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Control in Baldwinsville, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and deliver exceptional customer service. Conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and vendors in accordance with established site procedures, including directing authorized visitors to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, the business, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
