Paraprofessional Classroom Aides - Elementary Buildings

Position: Paraprofessional Classroom Aides - Elementary Buildings, Multiple Vacancies

Hours: 28 Hrs per week

Preferences:

• Must have had experience working with children K-5
• Must possess the ability to work as a member of a team
• Must meet requirements of NCLB (Highly Qualified)
• Must have passed or have the ability to pass ParaPro test or have an associate's degree or 60 hours of credit at an approved College or University.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of emergent reading, writing, math, social studies and science
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse cultural, racial and socioeconomic student population
• Skills in using computers to word process and the ability to demonstrate and help young students use the internet
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must work well with young children

Salary: Per the Non-Certified Staff Scale
