This position is located in Roy, Utah or Manhattan Beach, California and supports the Sentinel program.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You’ll Get To Do:The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system requirement development, requirements verification, and support reviewsResponsibilities will include requirements development in DOORS and MBSE development in Cameo in addition to coordination with design, test, and other teamsDemonstrate technical skills, organization, be an effective communicator, and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovateAbility to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the program as required to accomplish tasksThe selected candidate may support Guidance & Control requirements, verification, interfaces, architecture, and/or Major Program Event (MPE) event coordinationBasic Qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03).Systems Engineer:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 0 years of experience with Master's degreePrincipal Systems Engineer:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 Years of related experience; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhDRequired for both levels:Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needMust have experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including Requirements development and decomposition, Requirements management and traceability, Verification & validation planning and executionMust have experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, or similar)Must have experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to customers or leadershipPreferred Qualifications:Experience with one or more of the following disciplines: Guidance, Navigation, & Control, Electrical Engineering, Software Development, Hardware-Software InterfacesA general understanding of Engineering Board ProcessesExperience leading projects/assignmentsExperience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similarExperience with Critical Design Review planning and/or executionExperience working with suppliers/subcontractors including reviewing SOWs and other contractual documentsStrong experience reviewing specifications, requirements, and interface documentsUnderstanding of the Systems Engineering V-ModelExperience with aerospace developmentExperience with systems product developmentExperience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw (No Magic, Inc.) or other architecture modeling toolsExperience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description DocumentsExperience in DoD development environmentExperience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integrationExperience with complex system development on large programsActive DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtainActive SAP Clearance or ability to obtainPosition BenefitsAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee Discounts position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.#SentinelsystemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
