Shift Manager

Employer: This position is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the sole employer and responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment decisions. Responsibilities Lead shifts every week to ensure fast, accurate, friendly customer experience. Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness. Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take action to maintain McDonald’s standards. Monitor safety, security, profitability; communicate with next Shift Manager to ensure smooth handover. Help assigned departments meet goals and achieve targets during shifts. Manage food safety, inventory, daily maintenance, crew scheduling, training, and customer service. Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with flexible schedule; enjoys working in fast‑paced environment. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager. Benefits and Compensation Competitive pay.
