Billing Analyst

Billing AnalystAs a Billing Analyst, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, handling billing for multiple projects each month. You'll oversee the full billing cycle - from reviewing contract terms to preparing and submitting final invoices. You'll engage in regular communication with project managers and coordination across departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.What You'll Do:Communicate with project managers regarding contracts, change orders, and other contract modifications pertinent to project billingRequest, Input, and code subconsultant invoicesPrepare complete invoice packages with supporting documentation for approvalDeliver final invoices to clients via mail, email, or electronic invoicing platformsResearch and resolve billing discrepancies, including unbilled balancesMonitor aged AR client balances and pursue collections when neededCoordinate with Accounts Payable staff to ensure inclusion of billable AP vouchers and reimbursable expenses in billing periods.Report any cash receipts application issues related to AR balances and generate and distribute AR reportsMonitor WIP and addressing aging or unbilled itemsFulfill compliance obligations with government agencies by tracking and reporting commitments and subconsultant paymentsWhat You'll Need:Minimum 2 years' experience with project billing, AEC industry (preferred).TXDOT or other Department of Transportation invoicing experience (preferred).Proficiency in Excel with ability to create formula driven spreadsheets.Experience with Deltek ERP systems such as Vision or Vantagepoint.Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
