Territory Account Manager

Territory Account Manager role at Abcam (Danaher) focused on managing academic and biopharma accounts across Southern California. The position involves building strategic partnerships, generating revenue growth, and executing account plans while working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Identify and drive revenue growth within assigned named focus accounts using technical expertise
- Develop and execute account plans to build alliances and maximize market share across product portfolio
- Conduct proactive outbound calls and schedule customer visits in assigned territory
- Provide regular sales forecasts and market/competitor feedback to management
- Manage leads, activities, and opportunities using CRM system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years field sales account management experience in life sciences
- Ability to discuss antibody-based applications, proteomics, and protein-based solutions
- Proven relationship-building skills with scientific end-users and biopharma/academic decision-makers
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with customer-focused problem-solving
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-75% within Southern California region
Compensation: $95,000-$120,000 base, eligible for bonus/incentive pay
