Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial client appointments to determine mental health status and treatment needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities suited to their unique situations.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, offering psychosocial support and coping strategies to enhance client resilience.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations.

• Refer clients to additional healthcare providers when necessary, fostering a holistic approach to their mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, and eating disorders. Your experience and expertise will enable you to approach each client’s unique background and circumstances with understanding and sensitivity, creating a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• A current and valid license such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with varied patient populations and mental health issues.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatments, coupled with cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Proven ability to engage with clients compassionately while maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n
