CDL Driver

Discount Building Supply is currently seeking a careful CDL driver who can transport goods to clients located near and far. The responsibilities of the CDL driver include collecting and packing products, delivering them to clients, and returning to the store for the next delivery. The driver must perform all tasks in compliance with the law. The CDL driver's success depends on their ability to pay close attention to the types and quantities of goods being transported to prevent any losses to the company. Furthermore, an outstanding CDL driver should be capable of driving in all weather conditions, regardless of the time of day. Responsibilities Determining the details of each delivery Collecting and loading stock in a manner that prevents breakage Ensuring that the truck has sufficient fuel at all times Informing clients and your Manager of potential delays Delivering stock to clients on or before each deadline Completing, storing, and submitting all necessary documentation Keeping track of all reasonable expenses and submitting proof thereof to obtain refunds Reporting all vehicle-related issues for urgent attention Requirements 1-3 years of experience Experience operating similar vehicles for work purposes Comfortable using GPS equipment Ensuring that you are always fit to maneuver the truck Compliance with all road and transport rules Ability to drive safely, irrespective of the weather or time of day Top-notch time management, interpersonal, and administrative skills Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs Capacity to work for days on end, if needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
