Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking for a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Windsor, Colorado .

Our progressive compensation model is designed to reward your impact, offering a competitive base salary alongside production opportunities—with no negative accrual.

You’ll provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. You’ll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

Our hospital combines advanced medicine with a highly collaborative culture. We offer state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatment capabilities, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and high-flow oxygen therapy, along with recently renovated client spaces and expanded exam room capacity.

You'll work alongside a strong, fully staffed ER team with a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, supported by experienced specialists and sister hospitals throughout the region. We foster a positive learning environment with specialist mentorship, collaborative shift rounds, and frequent teaching opportunities through our externship program.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $130,000- $160,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License:
  • Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
  • Obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
