Activity Director

CareCore at Meadows is seeking a passionate Activity Director to lead and develop engaging programs that enrich the lives of our residents. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee a comprehensive activities program for residents. Develop engaging recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities. Create monthly activity calendars and special events. Encourage resident participation while tailoring activities to individual interests and abilities. Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers. Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life. Qualifications Activity Director Certification preferred (or eligible to obtain certification). Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Creative, energetic, and compassionate approach to resident engagement. Ability to plan, organize, and lead both group and one-on-one activities.
